Electrical systems info: Traditional Wiring, connected to the grid, this house is "downtown Pembroke". Investigating MicroFit for separately metered energy production.
Other green features: Long and narrow house design and south orientation for passive solar gain. Interior thermal mass for heat retention. Investigating MicroFit for the 2 1/2 acre land area. Solar pump for watering garden. Outdoor "Composting" toilet. Large vegetable garden and composting station planned.
Anything else you'd like to share?: We are fortunate to be located downtown Pembroke, at the end of a peninsula formed by the Indian River, with over 2 acres of land to play and garden on; backing on 2.5 acres of city property sporting many majestic centennary White Pines.
